Over this video blog I am going to show you how much exercise you would need to do to burn off certain foods if you eat them over your daily allowance.
You constantly hear ‘If I eat this I will only need to 30 minutes of cardio to burn it off?’
But is it really that simple?
Well for your viewing pleasure I am going to punish myself on top of my normal training program to show you how much exercise you would need to do to burn off some treats.
I will be doing all types of food so nothing will escape.
Junk food, treats, fruits, snacks, takeaways and alcohol all added on top of my maintenance level and then at the end I will give you the verdict if it was worth it!
This is not about demonising foods and is for education and fun (seeing me pasting myself).
All foods can be included into your diet you just need to make them fit into your day and by accounting for it.
So today’s challenge!
Slice of Victoria sponge followed by 7% Incline run on the treadmill
I only had a slice of this, just bigger than a quarter and it equalled a whopping 445 Kcal!!
This equalled me doing 22:08 min, while running an average of 10.7kmph and completing 3.91km.

Now this was hard work and if the cake was a little tastier would have been worth the effort haha!

It’s always easier when trying to lose weight to take it from nutrition instead of having to do this every time you eat extra!
I will be doing this a lot over the next few months, So if you have a food you enjoy as a treat feel free to message me with it and I will consume that food and then train it off!
Want to go one step further and want to give me an exercise/circuit to do I will constantly do this until completed also!
